CAPTE
Accreditation Logo Installation Guide
Introduction
The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) has partnered with Yoshki Ltd to develop a secure clickable logo using the Yoshki Digital Smart Logo service.
The CAPTE clickable logo (referred to in CAPTE rules (§8.21) as the “Accredited by CAPTE” logo) will allow members of the public to easily identify that a website they are visiting belongs to a genuine CAPTE accredited program.
Thanks to the software through which the logo is provided, only CAPTE accredited programs can use the clickable logo.
Accredited programs are required to include the “Accredited by CAPTE” logo supplied by the Accreditation staff on the program home page or where the program’s accreditation information can be found to indicate that CAPTE has accredited the program. If the logo is not on the program’s home page, there needs to be easy access to the logo from the program’s home page. The logo may also be used on other institutional web pages where the program’s accreditation status is described. The supplied logo will be protected from use by anyone other than approved users. It may NOT be used, however, on any webpage where its use could imply that CAPTE accredits programs that are not subject to CAPTE accreditation (e.g., post-professional degree programs, residency or fellowships) unless there is clear language that indicates those programs are NOT accredited by CAPTE.
Click the logo below to view an example of the verification information which your website visitors will see.
Website Verification
Yoshki’s website validation technology is a simple but important feature for the CAPTE verification logo.
In basic terms, anyone browsing your website can now click the CAPTE logo and receive an instant confirmation of the program’s accreditation status.
When a visitor clicks on the CAPTE logo, they will be seamlessly directed to a page on the CAPTE website which will instantly validate the accreditation status.
Following this check, your visitor will then be presented with the message confirming that the program is accredited by CAPTE. Once this is complete, your visitor will be returned back to your website straight away.
Adding the CAPTE Accreditation logo to your website
Adding the CAPTE Accreditation logo to your website is a simple and quick process.
Simply copy the associated HTML snippet and provide this to whoever administers your website. They can then paste this directly into whatever software is used to manage your site.
Please make sure that you’re not adding the HTML to development or testing sites; the CAPTE Accreditation logo will only work once published on the specific website address provided to CAPTE. It might not also display in your page builder or editor.
The default size of the CAPTE Accreditation logo has been set at 200 px wide by 81 px high.
If you require the logo in a different size, please contact support@yoshki.com
